If you are anything like most of our patients, you may have a story similar to what Dr. Sosnowski experienced. When it comes to conditions treated, for example, you may have tried multiple treatments from various specialists within traditional medicine, all without success. And it’s even more likely that you’re frustrated by months or years of suffering without relief.
Migraines or tension headaches, osteoporosis, chronic pain, and rheumatoid arthritis can certainly cause a decline in quality of life. Conditions like Celiac disease, Crohn’s disease, fibromyalgia, and sciatic nerve pain not only contribute to physical pain but can also cause an emotional toll.
Are you experiencing conditions such as anxiety, depression, or post-traumatic brain injury? Have you been diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury or concussion but are still suffering? We can help.
You need care that is focused on solving your problem, unrestricted by insurance-based medicine. You need a doctor who can see you when and where you need care and who can spend quality time with you and stay 100% focused on your healthcare needs. A doctor who really understands how you feel because she has walked in the same shoes.
Our New Patient Coordinator is ready to assist you with your questions and tell you about conditions treated during a free phone consultation.

There is Hope
We understand that you may have tried treating certain conditions using drug therapies that didn’t work or caused unpleasant side effects. Or perhaps you’ve tried other types of therapies that provided some help, but you’re still not experiencing relief. The first thing to remember is that no matter your situation, we are here for you.
MeRT is also a treatment that can be used in conjunction with other therapies, and many of our patients have reported that MeRT can also improve the success of accompanying therapies.
However, you don’t have to decide whether this is right for you right now. In reality, there are multiple steps involved in making this decision. You can take your first step by talking to our New Patient Coordinator in order to get more information. Then, if you are interested, you can get a consultation with the doctor to see if you may benefit from our services.
What is MeRT?
MeRT stands for Magnetic E (EEG/EKG) Resonance Therapy. In essence, MeRT is a non-pharmaceutical and non-invasive treatment used for various types of brain dysregulation. This treatment uses Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, which is also referred to as TMS. TMS is more of a one size fits all method of treatment since it uses a fixed frequency to target a single area of the brain.
Conversely, MeRT is a more sophisticated treatment because it can be customized to each individual’s needs based on the results of the quantitative EEG and EKG. Specifically, we completely tailor the location, frequency, and amount of power used by the magnet based on your exact condition.
However, before using the magnetic device, we first perform a quantitative EEG on each patient in order to determine the exact frequency of the brain. These results are then reviewed and evaluated by the clinical and scientific team at the Brain Treatment Center so that the treatment is specific to each patient’s unique condition.
Conditions treated include Autism, Traumatic Brain Injuries and Concussions, PTSD, Major Depressive Disorder, and Depression, as well as multiple other neurological conditions.
It is important to note that the equipment used in the MeRT treatment process is currently FDA-cleared to treat Depression and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). For all other disorders, this treatment is currently being used “off label.” However, studies are taking place to seek FDA clearance for Traumatic Brain Injury and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, but it may be some time before they are completed.
